The Fotofestival Lenzburg is an up-and-coming festival of photography that takes place biannually in the history-rich town of Lenzburg, in the heart of Switzerland. For one month from the end of May, it brings together participating photography experts and an interested public. The Fotofestival Lenzburg transforms its host town into an exhibition space dedicated exclusively to photography, presenting the medium in a wide variety of venues.
With curated group and solo exhibitions, guided tours, workshops, portfolio discussions, lectures, and accompanying events, the festival presents various photographic positions to be explored. It also offers numerous opportunities to meet and exchange with a community of enthusiasts in an open yet intimate setting. Lenzburg’s proximity to the art metropolises of Zurich and Basel attracts regional and international visitors to the festival.
The Fotofestival Lenzburg is a project of the Society for Photography of Lenzburg, founded in 2017.

How to support
The organisation of a festival is demanding and involves many practical tasks: setting up the exhibitions, welcoming the visitors, supporting the organisation of the events and workshops. Would you like to help us and dedicate some of your free time to the festival? Then get in contact: You will receive free access to the exhibitions, discount on workshops, as well as the festival T-shirt sponsored by NIKIN and festival events, and you will be able to organise an exciting project with a great team.

Membership
We are a small team that puts a lot of heart and soul into creating a new festival for you every year, but in order to be able to realize our vision materially, we are happy to welcome new members.
With an annual contribution of 50 CHF, you will support us in creating high-quality indoor and outdoor exhibitions and making them accessible to a wide audience. As member, you have free access to the festival, with exclusive guided tours, and you’ll receive discounts on the festival workshops.
