The Fotofestival Lenzburg is the up-and-coming photography festival. It takes place in Lenzburg, a town with a rich history in the heart of Switzerland, and it is held every second year. For one month from the end of May, it brings together participating photography experts and an interested public. The Fotofestival Lenzburg transforms its host town into a photography exhibition space like no other, showcasing the medium in a variety of venues.
With curated group and solo exhibitions, guided tours, workshops, portfolio discussions, lectures, and accompanying events, the festival presents various photographic positions to be explored. It also offers numerous opportunities to meet and exchange with a community of enthusiasts in an open yet intimate setting. Lenzburg’s proximity to the art metropolises of Zurich and Basel attracts regional and international visitors to the festival.
The Fotofestival Lenzburg is a project of the Society for Photography of Lenzburg, founded in 2017.

Organising a festival is a challenging task and involves lots of exciting work: setting up and dismantling exhibitions, and looking after visitors and events.

As a thank you for your help at the Fotofestival Lenzburg, you will receive:
- From 2 shifts: You will receive a festival pass and you are warmly welcome to the opening drinks reception, the vernissage and all FFL events.
- From 2 shifts: You will receive a festival pass, catalogue and bag, and you are warmly welcome to the opening drinks reception, the vernissage and all FFL events.
- From 6 shifts: Everything as above, plus we will cover your travel expenses.

Membership
We are a small team who put a lot of heart and soul into creating a new festival for you every two years. However, in order to bring our vision to life, we are happy to welcome new members.
With an annual contribution of 50 CHF, you will support us in creating high-quality indoor and outdoor exhibitions and making them accessible to a wide audience. As member, you have free access to the festival, with exclusive guided tours, and you’ll receive discounts on the festival workshops.
Voluntary donations to the Lenzburg Society for Photography can be tax deductible.
