Light painting portraits with mit Raffaele Cabras

Light painting
Masterclass with Raffaele Cabras, SONY Photographer

I love to play with light and long exposures, whether that’s capturing a glorious night landscape lighten up by a drone, or the beautiful shapes of a sports car, or a creative portrait!

In this workshop, we will focus on the most creative use of artificial light to create shapes, objects, and backdrops for our portraits. Together we will unlock the secret of this technique! I will share with you my tools, settings, and recommendations to nail your perfect “light painting shot”!

We will use RGB lights and LED bars to project colored lights and create unique photos. As you can see below, also my profile photo got some special “light painting” tuning effect.

Bring your camera and tripod along! If you don’t have a tripod, just mark the checkbox and we will have one reserved for you. We will also have plenty of Sony lenses and cameras to try! So it will be a workshop not to miss! See you soon.
